Abstract:
The algorithms of position control of impact oscillator and synchronization of two impact oscillators are demonstrated in this paper. The results show that the stable or unstable (chaotic) impact oscillators can be controlled and kept in a desired position. The chaotic impact oscillator can also be controlled to a desired stable impact oscillator using synchronization scheme. The proposed algorithm shows a fast convergence rate for both cases.
