Delay-dependent asymptotic stability of a two-neuron system with different time delays

Fenghua Tu, Xiaofeng Liao and Wei Zhang

Chaos, Solitons & Fractals, 2006, vol. 28, issue 2, 437-447

Abstract: In this paper, we consider a two-neuron system with time-delayed connections between neurons. Based on the construction of Lyapunov functionals, we obtain sufficient criteria to ensure local and global asymptotic stability of the equilibrium of the neural network. The obtained conditions are shown to be less conservative and restrictive than those reported in the literature. Some examples are included to illustrate our results.
