Abstract:
In this paper some aspects through the two-level atom interacting with a radiation field modeled as a multiphoton Jaynes–Cummings model are presented. The exact results are employed to perform a careful investigation of the temporal evolution of the atomic inversion, entropy, phase distribution and Q-function. The influence of Kerr-like medium on the Q-function and phase distribution in both presence and absence of the nonlinear medium is examined. The results show that the effect of Kerr-like medium changes the quasi-period of the field entropy and hence the entanglement between the particle and the field. General conclusions reached are illustrated by numerical results.
