Physical stability and critical effects in models of fractal defects evolution based on single fractal approximation

Dorota Aniszewska and Marek Rybaczuk

Chaos, Solitons & Fractals, 2007, vol. 32, issue 1, 246-251

Abstract: The results of physical stability calculations are presented. The simple model based on single fractal approximation is unstable and therefore the new model was constructed. It contains higher order expansion of energy, which describes interaction between defects and express inhomogeneity of energy accumulated on defects. Derivation was based on similarity between defects growth and continuous phase transition. The numerical examination of physical stability proves that new model is stable.
