Abstract:
In terms of the properties of the known loop algebra A∼1 and difference operators, a new algebraic system GM is constructed, which is devoted to working out the multi-component Toda hierarchy. Then an extended algebraic system G∼M of GM is presented, from which the integrable coupling system of the multi-component Toda equations is obtained.
