Abstract:
A novel control strategy based on the nonlinear observer technique for a class of chaotic oscillations is proposed. By assuming that the exact model of the system is not known, the control strategy employs a nonlinear observer to track the states and disturbances of the nonlinear system, and then constructs a nonlinear feedback law. Simulation results on van der Pol oscillator are provided to illustrate the effectiveness of the control strategy.
