An extension of the notion of topological entropy

M. Malziri and M.R. Molaei

Chaos, Solitons & Fractals, 2008, vol. 36, issue 2, 370-373

Abstract: In this paper the notion of topological entropy for non-compact metric spaces is studied. The notion of “base” for a continuous discrete dynamical system is presented. The independence of topological entropy of basis is deduced. An example in the genetic space is presented. Moreover the evolution of topological entropy under iteration of a continuous map, and conjugacy are studied.
