Application of Exp-function method to high-dimensional nonlinear evolution equation

Sheng Zhang

Chaos, Solitons & Fractals, 2008, vol. 38, issue 1, 270-276

Abstract: In this paper, the Exp-function method is used to obtain generalized solitonary solutions and periodic solutions of the (3+1)-dimensional Kadomtsev–Petviashvili equation. It is shown that the Exp-function method, with the help of symbolic computation, provides a powerful mathematical tool for solving high-dimensional nonlinear evolution equations in mathematical physics.
