Abstract:
In this paper, the Exp-function method is used to obtain generalized solitonary solutions and periodic solutions of the (3+1)-dimensional Kadomtsev–Petviashvili equation. It is shown that the Exp-function method, with the help of symbolic computation, provides a powerful mathematical tool for solving high-dimensional nonlinear evolution equations in mathematical physics.
