Heat transfer analysis on the MHD flow of a second grade fluid in a channel with porous medium

T. Hayat and Z. Abbas

Chaos, Solitons & Fractals, 2008, vol. 38, issue 2, 556-567

Abstract: In this paper, the heat transfer analysis is investigated for magnetohydrodynamic (MHD) flow in a porous channel. The second grade fluid fills the porous space inside the channel. The governing non-linear problem is solved analytically. Homotopy analysis method (HAM) is employed to obtain the expressions for velocity and temperature fields. Convergence of the obtained solutions is properly analyzed. Graphs are sketched and discussed for various pertinent parameters on the velocity and temperature fields.
