A note on the L-fuzzy Banach’s contraction principle

Abstract: Recently, Alaca et al. [Alaca C, Turkoglu D, Yildiz C. Fixed points in intuitionistic fuzzy metric spaces. Chaos, Solitons & Fractals 2006;29:10738] proved fuzzy Banach fixed point theorem in intuitionistic fuzzy metric spaces and Saadati [Saadati R. Notes to the paper “fixed points in intuitionistic fuzzy metric spaces” and its generalization to L-fuzzy metric spaces. Chaos, Solitions & Fractals 2008;35:80–176] extended it in generalized fuzzy metric spaces. The purpose of this paper is to give a correct proof of the main result in Saadati [Saadati R. Notes to the paper “fixed points in intuitionistic fuzzy metric spaces” and its generalization to L-fuzzy metric spaces. Chaos, Solitions & Fractals 2008;35:80–176].
