Abstract:
A new method named canonical-like transformation method is proposed to find the exact solutions to nonlinear diffusion equations. By this method, the exact traveling wave solutions to a class of diffusion equations are obtained. As special cases, some exact solutions to Fisher equation, Burgers–KdV equation and Newell–Whitehead equation are given.
