Hopf bifurcation in a partial dependent predator–prey system with delay

Huitao Zhao and Yiping Lin

Chaos, Solitons & Fractals, 2009, vol. 42, issue 2, 896-900

Abstract: In this paper, a partial dependent predator–prey model with time delay is studied by using the theory of functional differential equation and Hassard’s method, the condition on which positive equilibrium exists and Hopf bifurcation occurs are given. Finally, numerical simulations are performed to support the analytical results, and the chaotic behaviors are observed.
