New periodic and soliton wave solutions for the generalized Zakharov system and (2+1)-dimensional Nizhnik–Novikov–Veselov system

Abstract: In this paper, the Exp-function method is used to obtain generalized solitonary solutions and periodic solutions of the Generalized Zakharov system and (2+1)-dimensional Nizhnik–Novikov–Veselov system. It is shown that the Exp-function method, with the help of symbolic computation, provides a powerful mathematical tool for solving nonlinear evolution equations in mathematical physics.
