Chaos synchronization of a new 3D chaotic system

Abstract: In this paper, we address chaos synchronization problems of a new 3D chaotic system via three different methods. Active control and backstepping design methods are adopted when system parameters are known, and adaptive control method is applied when system parameters are unknown. The corresponding sufficient conditions to achieve synchronization between two identical systems are obtained based on the Lyapunov stability theory. Numerical simulations are presented to demonstrate the effectiveness and feasibility of the analytical results.
