Abstract:
The plateau pika is a keystone species of the Qinghai-Xizang plateau. We ought to intensify the inspection and management about its population dynamics in order to bring it to appropriate spatio-temporal distribution, play the role of keystone species, and do not destroy the alpine grasslands. In this paper, a cellular automata model for dispersal of plateau pika has been established. Concept of dispersal force based on this model has been presented. Through simulating the insight into dispersal mechanism of the plateau pika has been obtained.
