Abstract:
The Malaysian philosophy of joint development for an area of overlap such as the Joint Development Area is a joint operation which will be managed under simple and clear arrangements, and operate within a framework of laws that is practical and unambiguous. Terms of operations not only meet contractor's investment objectives but also contribute to the enhancement of the Joint Authority's management capabilities. Marketing arrangements will be compatible with Malaysia's and Thailand's national development programs.
