The role of an independent oil company in the Pacific Basin

Anthony P. Towell

Energy, 1986, vol. 11, issue 4, 423-425

Abstract: Although global demand is slowly increasing, supply constraints will not appear until the next decade at the earliest, thus continuing the present difficulties for refiners. The Asia-Pacific region, however, is expected to continue its strong economic growth. In this environment an independent oil company must develop innovative and flexible marketing strategies.
