Abstract:
The performance of a thermosyphon solar water heater with parallel flat-plate absorber has been studied both theoretically and experimentally. The overall system thermal efficiency obtained with a parallel-plate is higher than for a tube-in-sheet absorber type. Theoretical values are in agreement with experimental data.
