Incinerator production, fate and health effects of polychlorinated dioxins and furans

Abstract: We review information on toxic loads produced by municipal-waste incineration and methods used to calculate health risks. Production rates of dioxins and furans are used to evaluate long-term health hazards in terms of an analytical model.
