Abstract:
The current status and long-term research and development needs relating to diagnostics on gaseous emissions from waste incinerators are summarized. The discussion includes an overview of regulatory and policy issues. The diagnostic techniques discussed in this paper are generally applicable to all fossil-fuel-utilization technologies.
