Abstract:
In this study, the microwave/radio frequency curing of polymers is reviewed, the characteristics of curable polymers are discussed and the energy requirements for microwave/radio frequency curing are calculated. Finally, using these findings, a market-penetration study is carried out to determine the potential Canadian market for microwave/radio frequency curing of polymers.
