Abstract:
A new gas burner generating a swirling flame has been developed. The burner thermal efficiency is higher by 10–30% than that of conventional burners. The effect of the design parameters on the performance characteristics of the new burner was explored under various operating conditions for natural and synthetic gases. Applications include use with picnic gas-bottles as well as domestic and semi-industrial hot-plates.
