Abstract:
We analyse indicators and influencing factors of energy demand in the Dominican Republic. Energy-use and supply structures are critically reviewed and compared with the energy-economic levels of industrialized and developing countries. Additionally, the future energy demand of the Dominican Republic is related to its economic development.
