Effects of coal and charcoal on solar-still performance

Abstract:
We have studied the effects of coal and charcoal on solar-still performance. Locally available, durable and cheap materials were used. Both fuels improve the still performance. The average daily productivity and efficiency of the still were 1.121/m2 and 16.5%, respectively.
