Research and development programs for HTGRs in JAERI

Abstract: Since 1969, JAERI has conducted research and development (R&D) programs for High-Temperature Gas-Cooled Reactors (HTGR). And the High Temperature engineering Test Reactor (HTTR), which will be the first High Temperature Gas Cooled Reactor (HTGR) in Japan, is under licensing process now.
