Abstract: The High Temperature engineering Test Reactor (HTTR) is a test reactor in Japan with thermal output of 30MW and reactor outlet coolant temperature of 950 °C at a high temperature test operation. This report describes features of the HTTR, emphases being laid on the safety design.
