Static gain and gain ratio of the thermal-response factors for building-energy analysis

D.H. Eunilkim

Energy, 1991, vol. 16, issue 8, 1111-1117

Abstract: The thermal-response factors derived from the one-dimensional heat equations are briefly reviewed. By using the static gain and the response-time concept, a gain ratio instead of the common ratio is proposed. This concept allows us to improve the thermal performance in using thermal-response factors for building-energy analysis.
