Abstract:
This paper focuses on future areas of research and development (R&D) in the area of demand-side management (DSM) impact measurement and evaluation. The goal is to identify viable R&D opportunities that can improve capabilities to determine the energy and demand reductions achieved in customer facilities through DSM programs and measures. After reviewing key issues in data analysis, field monitoring, and the evaluation of DSM measures, potential R& D opportunities are identified according to a priority level.
