The effect of glazing on solar collectors

D. Michalopoulos and G. Massouros

Energy, 1994, vol. 19, issue 8, 911-918

Abstract: A study of the influence of glazing on the thermal performance of flat-plate solar collectors is described. Important among other factors are the optical characteristics of the components. We have studied the optical behaviour of solar heat collectors in two spectral regions. Good correlations are found to exist between the theoretical and experimental results.
