A divisia decomposition analysis of NOx emission intensities for the power sector in Thailand and South Korea

Energy, 1998, vol. 23, issue 6, 433-438

Abstract: We analyze the effects of changes in the technology-mix, fuel-mix and fuel intensity on NOx emission intensities during 1985–1995. Interfuel substitutions were mainly responsible for observed changes in NOx emission intensities in South Korea, while efficiency improvements in thermal power plants were the major factor in Thailand.
