Abstract:
Turbulent jet ignition (TJI) technology has the potential to improve engine efficiency. To elucidate the influence of different factors (diameter and number of holes) affecting the nozzle's total cross-sectional area, internal structure of the pre-chamber, and nozzle angle on the combustion characteristics of the engine. A 3 × 3 orthogonal test was designed and machined. The experiments were carried out on a pre-chamber single-cylinder engine.
