Abstract:
The continuous consumption of fossil fuels has led to a global energy shortage. Enhancing energy efficiency in the construction sector has become a major research focus. In this study, the integration of Radiative Cooling (RC) technology, Solar Thermal (ST) technology, and blinds is considered. The effect of system parameters such as blade angle, gap width and air intake velocity on the cooling or heating performance of the system is discussed and analyzed. Both simulation and experimental methodologies were employed to evaluate the cooling and heating capacity of the RC-ST blind systems. And the performance of the system in four different regions was analyzed. The results show that the average maximum cooling power of the system can reach 117.93 W/m2, and the maximum heating power can reach 346.40 W/m2. The average cavity temperature rise in cooling mode increases by 0.22 °C, while in heating mode it decreases by 0.98 °C. In addition, the system can achieve 9033.14 MJ and 951.65 MJ of cooling and heating per month, respectively, demonstrating considerable district heating and cooling capabilities. This study demonstrates the significant potential of utilizing solar and space energy in the field of building energy conservation, providing valuable insights for future applications.
