Abstract:
The oxygen-enriched gasification of biomass micron fuel (BMF) was studied. Thermogravimetric analyses under different oxygen concentrations were performed to investigate the gasification behavior. The results showed that the increasing oxygen concentration enhanced the release of volatile matter and the combustion of fixed-carbon. The autothermal gasification of BMF using the oxygen-enriched air agent in a cyclone furnace was also studied. When the oxygen concentration increased from 21% to 31.4%, the gas yield increased from 72.14% to 81.41% and the lower heating value (LHV) of the produced gas increased to 6200 kJ/Nm3.
