Design criteria in PCM wall thermal storage

A.D. Solomon

Energy, 1979, vol. 4, issue 4, 701-709

Abstract: Performance criteria for a wall with an enclosed phase-change material (PCM) are discussed. Qualitative conclusions about how best to choose the PCM are derived and illustrated by means of computer simulations. Material properties dominating the heat-transfer process are identified and relations between them are determined.
