Performance of a low cost cross-wind-axis sail-wind turbine

Goodarz Ahmadi

Energy, 1980, vol. 5, issue 10, 1045-1052

Abstract: The performance of a model of a cross-wind axis sail rotor is investigated. Several different types of sail blades are employed and the effects of wind velocity, blade pitch angles, and external load on the efficiency of the rotor are studied.
