Abstract:
The fossil-energy demands of small-field, multi-cropped agriculture have been studied. Daily observations on the energy demands in a farming area are divided into components related to different types of work operations and power units. Some priorities of action strategies for judiciously utilizing fossil energy in developing agriculture have been identified.
