Feedback effect and transportation costs in biofuels production
Miguel El. Afioni
Energy, 1982, vol. 7, issue 12, 1019-1024
Abstract:
Consumption of oil derivatives in the production process usually controls the real costs of liquid fuels obtained from biomass. Since carrying of the raw material for conversion is responsible for most of the consumption, biomass transportation costs are discussed as functions of production scale and agricultural and industrial yields.
