Abstract:
The temperature dependence of the overall heat-loss coefficient for flat-plate collectors has been studied by using stagnation measurements made with different configurations, viz., tilt 45 °s with single and double glazing and tilt 0 ° with single glazing. Comparisons have been made with theoretical results. The agreement between the calculated and experimental results is found to be quite good.
