Abstract:
We report on a survey of the consumption of wood and other biomass fuels by cottage industries in the province of Northern Luzon in the Philippines. These firms include producers of sugarcane wine, molasses, flue-cured tobacco, pottery, and salt as well as blacksmiths, restaurants, and bakeries.
