Employment effects of changing multinational strategies in Europe
Jim Hamill
European Management Journal, 1992, vol. 10, issue 3, 334-340
Abstract:
The Cecchini Report and others have seriously miscalculated the employment effects of the European Single Market by ignoring the strategic response of multinational enterprises to the Single Market. There are both positive and negative aspects to this. Jim Hamill analyses in detail the important changes taking place in MNE strategy in Europe and identifies the likely employment effects.
