Notes and viewsRegulatory reform and corporate compliance: A brief perspective

Ralf Boschek

European Management Journal, 1994, vol. 12, issue 1, 67-70

Abstract: National and international competition rules are becoming tougher and more conceptual. As a result, companies are increasingly employing corporate compliance programmes, just to keep operating legally, and are also being obliged to engage in dialogues with regulatory authorities to maintain their long-term commercial viability. Designing effective corporate compliance programmes and influencing regulatory bodies on competition law and enforcement are matters in which the companies must be very proactive.
