Abstract:
For a long time, leading companies have made their own internal assessment, or self-assessment, of key activities and results. Its purpose is to systematically improve the organisation's procedures and results. In addition, bodies such as banks, credit rating agencies as well as financial analysts, have routinely measured performance and checked the health of organisations. This Executive Briefing, by a Working Group of executives interested in quality management, recommends the benefits of disclosing the results of self-assessment to such external bodies and analysts, and makes proposals regarding the information that can be shared.
