Legal framework for coordinated team effort

Abstract:
The system of collaborative marketing has been developed, which needs a legal framework both concise and flexible. A number of legal documents are required for the formation of the joint company and the partners' agreement to control its operation; there are also government and bank financial support agreements where appropriate. An alternative structure has been produced by French law in the form of the Groupement d'Intérêt Économique and if the venture trades within the EEC the Community's own competition law must be considered.
