Abstract:
What makes a retailer competitive? From the distribution point of view, there are essential requirements for survival - like well-located sales outlets - and there are proactive features. Among the latter, Lluis Martinez-Ribes explains that it is the single, well-defined concept which differentiates each establishment that really matters.
