Contracting out work can affect the profitability of a company

Sue Braithwaite

European Management Journal, 1990, vol. 8, issue 1, 55-57

Abstract: The contracting out of work carries risks and therefore dangers for companies. Sue Braithwaite illustrates with examples and points out that some of these risks are insurable. Others, however, are not, and careful planning and thought such as the proper training of employees is recommended for tackling these.
