From national to European -- how to make it happen?
H Jürg Jakob
European Management Journal, 1990, vol. 8, issue 2, 192-198
Abstract:
H. Jürg Jakob argues that if business is to Europeanise, the biggest change will be in corporate attitudes and values. Jacobs Suchard provides such a model, and has attempted to develop a decentralised system of Euronetworks, appoint Euroworking groups, encourage Euro-mobility, foster Euro-English as the business language, and create a sense of corporate Euro-urgency. It has also not neglected the pursuit of competitive excellence, and faces 1992 with confidence.
