Political risk assessment in lending to eastern Europe
Iliana Zloch-Christy
European Management Journal, 1990, vol. 8, issue 4, 509-513
Abstract:
Iliana Zloch-Christy considers the sort of questions that should be asked about the risk of doing business in Eastern Europe. Political risk is still the major one, even though the countries are moving towards market economies. This involves making judgements about each country's leadership, social conditions, relations with the Soviet Union, and relations with Western nations. Dr Zloch-Christy poses many questions and suggests some answers.
