Abstract:
Digital transformation is a multidimensional challenge that is requiring to change consolidated approaches and managerial models. New organized entities are emerging because of this ongoing transformation and new competences are required for managing and living them. Thanks to the interpretative contribution provided by the systems thinking, the paper focuses the attention on the paradigm shift required for defining t-shaped professionals able to master digital transformation in emerging dynamics. A conceptual model is proposed and discussed building upon the T-shaped model with the aim to enrich current theoretical and managerial debates about strategies for supporting both individuals and organizations in facing the challenges imposed by the digital transformation.
