Abstract:
Many studies have analyzed employee turnover. The study expands our understanding of turnover by including leader-member exchange in a model of turnover among retail buyers. Controlling turnover is especially important among retail buyers where it can exceed 30%. The results indicate that leader-member exchange influences turnover indirectly through certain facets of job satisfaction (supervisor satisfaction and pay raise satisfaction).
