Abstract:
The purpose of this study is to clarify how to design and implement strategies for building smart cities. Despite extensive research on cities' successful transformation into smart cities, a gap exists on how these cities' services shift toward smart services and on the methodology that the cities follow in transforming these services. This qualitative study builds on an integrative literature review and case studies to propose a methodological framework for the implementation of smart cities.
